Cornerstone Institute of Idaho’s 2008 Voter Guide

Dear Idaho Voter,

Welcome to the 2008 Idaho Voter Guide website!  You are to be commended for your desire to become an informed voter and we hope that our guide will enable you to make educated decisions about the candidates.

Our goal is to help you exercise your duty of responsible citizenship by voting for those candidates who best represent your values.  In late March we mailed a questionnaire to all of the candidates running in the May 27th primary election for the U.S. Senate and House and the 35 districts comprising the Idaho Legislature.  Our questionnaire contained 18 statements about issues of critical importance to Idaho’s families.

This website, along with a printed version that will be distributed a few days before the primary in all major Idaho newspapers, summarizes the responses we received.  To find your candidates’ responses online, just click on your district in the map below.

Your vote is the most important means you have of influencing how your government functions.  Whatever else you do on May 27th, please make it count by casting an informed, educated vote for the candidates of your choice!

Cordially,

Douglas K. Barth, Esq.
Executive Director, Cornerstone Institute of Idaho
